The Puma x Nahmias collaboration brings together two universes that, at first glance, may seem distant: German sports heritage and the laid-back imagination of the American West Coast. The result is a sophisticated reinterpretation of the Puma Suede that confirms how a classic archive can engage in dialogue with next-generation casual luxury.
Nahmias: Relaxed Luxury from California
Founded by Don Nahmias, the Nahmias brand was born in Los Angeles with a clear vision: to elevate surf culture and the carefree aesthetic of Southern California into the realm of contemporary luxury. The label is defined by oversized silhouettes, premium fabrics, and a nostalgic sensibility shaped by skateboarding, teen cinema, and American music culture.

One of the most talked-about cultural moments surrounding the brand was the emergence of the Marty Supreme jacket, a color-block windbreaker created in collaboration with Timothée Chalamet and his stylist Taylor McNeill to promote the film Marty Supreme, distributed by A24. The piece stood out not only for its ’90s varsity-inspired design, but also for the media phenomenon that surrounded it. A24 activated a marketing strategy that turned the jacket into an omnipresent object even before the film’s release: custom cereal boxes, New York pop-ups, celebrities like Kid Cudi and Tom Brady photographed wearing it, and a meticulously orchestrated digital campaign. The result was immediate: the jacket sold out quickly and reached remarkable resale prices, consolidating its status as a fleeting collector’s item.

Nahmias has successfully positioned itself as a brand that translates Californian relaxation into luxury codes. That sensitivity now moves into footwear through its collaboration with Puma.
Puma Suede
Originally launched in 1968, the Puma Suede debuted as a basketball shoe, but it quickly transcended sport to become a cultural symbol. Adopted by athletes, artists, and urban movements—from 1980s breakdancing to hip-hop—the Suede established itself as one of the most versatile silhouettes in the Puma catalog.
Over the decades, the Puma Suede has been reinterpreted through multiple collaborations and special editions, consistently maintaining its low profile, premium suede upper, and signature rubber sole. Its longevity is not rooted in nostalgia, but in a balanced construction that allows constant reinterpretation without losing identity.
Puma x Nahmias
The Puma x Nahmias collaboration reimagines the classic silhouette through a more relaxed and sophisticated lens. The capsule includes three core versions of the Puma Suede x Nahmias—black (407027-01), white (407026-01), and red (407025-01)—each reinterpreting the model with premium materials and exclusive detailing.
Each pair preserves the iconic structure while incorporating refined finishes and co-branding details that reflect the DNA of both houses. The result is a sneaker that retains its sporting essence while adopting a more contemplative and elevated attitude, aligned with Nahmias’ aesthetic.
